Tax technology is focus on the use of information technology and data analysis tools to provide professional tax technology solutions to help enterprises reduce tax risk and improve the level of tax compliance. As a tax technology professional, in order to achieve the above performance, you need to research the tax business situation of our customers, thinking on how to use the power of technology, to provide the appropriate solutions and suggestions to customers to help them solve their tax problems.
In a rapidly changing business environment, tax technology put forward higher request to you, you need to constantly improve the professional skills of information technology and data analysis technology, but also need to increase their tax business knowledge, and has the ability of combining these two fields perfectly. Job description and responsibilities
Pwc have set up four roles for tax technology: software developer, business analyst, software test analyst and ETL consultant implementation.
Design and implement HTML5+CSS3+JS based web applications for internal and client facing applications
Integrate back-end technologies, such as various databases, ORM tools, message-oriented middleware, etc.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing and tuning
Build reusable code and libraries for future use and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Understand business needs and derive business requirements
Perform systems and/or proposal comparisons and evaluations
Prepare business requirements document, project plan, training materials, rollout plan, etc.
Effectively manage business requirements and change requests
Manage project tasks and timeline
Work closely with developers and test analysts throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
Software Test Analyst:
Responsible for software quality control, including functional test, integration test, black box test, white box test, load test, sanity test, etc.
Design test plan and test strategy, develop test cases, and prepare test data
Use testing tools and testing techniques to perform testing, record testing results, track and prioritise issues
Create testing related documents including test plan, test cases, software testing reports, etc.
Work closely with business analysts and software developers to improve software quality and system stability
ETL Consultant Implementation:
Execute Tax software implementation for client engagements
Engage in system set up and configuration of Tax software
Collect customization requirement from client and confirm timely with BA
Handle and process data using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
Manage project stakeholder’s requirement and maintain satisfaction
Provide quality IT professional services to clients
Travel within China, subject to client locations
