大學生報 Bank MT / Property MT 須知

大部分跨國企業和大公司 IB / BANKING 也有舉辦Management Trainee的招聘計劃,項目內容一般會包括2至3年的訓練,讓MT輪流去到公司的多個部門,擔任不同的工作崗位,了解公司的業務發展和運作。之後,MT或GT會獲派到其中一個部門中,擔任Assistant Manager或Senior Officers等職位,同時接近更全面的訓練,幫助他們躋身為公司的管理階層。
除了MT外,個別公司也有提供Graduate Trainee (GT)或其他畢業生的招聘計劃。此類計劃的設立目標是要為公司的特定部門培訓具有不同技能的人才,如星展銀行的Operation and Technology Graduate Associate 及PwC 的Management Consulting計劃就是很好的例子。

大部分跨國企業和Investment Bank同銀行每年收到的MT/GT申請可達3000 - 8000 份,而且每個部門擁有的Headcount也是有限的,使競爭更加激烈。在投報IB / Banking Management Trainee前,了解每間公司或部門的Headcount有助你增加取得Offer的成功率,愈少Headcount的公司和部門,競爭自然愈激烈。
以2019-20的數字為例:

匯豐HSBC的Securities Services一般只會有兩個Headcount,而Private Banking可有10+以上Headcount;
-
中國銀行BOC往年會有10+個Management Trainee Headcount,而Graduate Trainee 就提供多達30+Headcount
假設以上四個部門均收到3000份申請,那麼競爭人數便是:

匯豐HSBC的Securities Services:3000 人 競爭 2 個Headcount,同學取得Offer的成功率僅有0.067%

匯豐HSBC的Private Banking:3000 人 競爭 10 個Headcount,同學取得Offer的成功率僅有0.33%
-
中國銀行BOC的Management Trainee:3000 人 競爭 15 個Headcount,同學取得Offer的成功率僅有0.5%
-
中國銀行BOC的Graduate Trainee:3000 人 競爭 30 個Headcount,同學取得Offer的成功率僅有1%
以上數字,甚至尚未把公司因應經濟及市場環境考量而作出的Headcount cut計算在內。正因競爭如此激烈,公司會設立多層關卡去評核同學的能力,層層篩選出精英中的精英,可以說同學若能躋進Final Round Interview已經非常不容易!

⭕每關內容及準備方法
1️⃣CV Screening:
在同學提交Online Application後,部分公司會先進行CV Screening,再決定是否邀請你進行Apt Test!
因此,想成為Management Trainee或Graduate Trainee,第一步便是有一份專業的履歷。很多同學會把有關自己的所有資料放入CV,以為愈長就愈好。但其實CV上每個項目都應該帶出你的不同能力、性格、經驗和特點,證明你能夠勝任Management Trainee,有潛質成為公司的管理層。如果亂寫亂Send,分分鐘連CV Screening 都過唔到!
2️⃣Aptitude Test:
目前市面上有嘅Apt Test Systems愈來愈多,香港公司常用嘅Systems包括:SHL/ Talent Q/ CUBIKS/ GradeAce/ Cut-E/Game Assessment等等。要成功Pass到Apt Test,一般要完成或做岩85-95%嘅題目。
值得留意嘅係,由2019-2020年開始,有好多公司開始選用新SHL!同大家係網上搵到嘅題型會有分別!你收到Apt test 時記得望清楚係新版定原版嘅SHL system!
3️⃣Video-In:
如果話「Video係請人嘅大勢」呢樣野應該冇人會反對,好多公司會用Video-In(包括HSBC/J.P. Morgan/ MTR等等)尼挑選同學進入下一round。亦有少量公司,如恒生如Citibank仲用緊HR Interview,而非Video Interview。所謂Video Interview,一般不會面對真人,同學需要係指定時間內登入公司嘅系統,回答預設嘅問題,而同學嘅回答會被錄低,經過AI及HR人手兩類挑選。
4️⃣Assessment Centre:
Assessment Centre顧名思義係指公司會將多項嘅Recruitment Process放係同一天入面完成。AC通常會包括:Written Test、Onsite Apt Test、Case Analysis and Discussion/Team Game/Role Play或Individual Interview等等Assessment,當中以Case Studies最難掌握,需要花較多時間預備。而地產或者某啲Conglomerates亦常進行Team Game去考核大家的團體合作能力!
Case Studies會做甚麼?
銀行/四大/咨詢公司/地產常做Case Studies,通常會安排6-8個人一組,要求同學係限定時間內閱讀一份10-20頁不等嘅Business Case(內容包括Financial Chart/Ratios/Company Info/ Product Info等等),跟住就會要大家做小組討論,分析Case裡面嘅問題,提出有效建議,再做匯報。
5️⃣Panel In:
通常去到Final In 或Panel Interview嘅Candidates水平都好高,Interviewers通常會係Division Head/Manager等,當中問嘅問題會涉及好多情境題同埋Technical Knowledge,不單要考核你嘅專業技能同處理問題嘅能力,更會睇埋你嘅性格係唔係適合。
